We understood the speaker to describe the 2 1/2 hour “commute” to Miami-Fort Lauderdale as the round trip it would take one person to travel to work in one of those cities from Ave Maria. Travel distances are 115 miles and 98 miles, respectively, from Ave Maria. We can certainly understand how it could be interpreted differently, so we appreciate the clarification.

The info provided that it takes two and a half hours is incorrect. Ave is forty minutes form downtown Naples and is a golf cart community. If you have a family or are retired it provides a great bang for your buck.
